Unless you've been living on Mars for the past few years, you'll know that email inboxes are being swamped with spam. Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) use filtering software to weed out spam from incoming email before it reaches the recipient's inbox. Some ISPs crank up the sensitivity of their filtering software so much that legitimate email gets filtered out too. You can avoid this situation by making sure that your email does not trigger those over-zealous spam filters. ScoreforSpam tells you how likely your email is to get filtered out by giving it a score. Low is good. High is bad. |

Create your plain text or HTML email. Make sure your email is finished, proof-read and formatted properly. Remember if you change anything, you will need to score it again. |
Send it by email to check@scoreforspam.com Important: The subject mail of your email must start with the word CHECK or our spam scorer will think it is real spam and ignore it. |
Within one minute we will send you a report by email. It shows the spam score and lists the problems it found that may cause your email to be flagged as spam. Fix those problems and submit it again. If you do not receive the report within a few minutes, check your spam box in case your ISP thought the report was spam! |
